Humane Ventures provides concept development support and small grants to nonprofits with a mission to reduce animal suffering. Grants are intended to fund new and innovative startups that leverage the internet and social media to amplify their impact. Recipients may also benefit from our technical expertise and network.
We support initiatives that meet all three of the following criteria:

Projects must aim to have a large-scale and long-term impact on millions of animals.
Recipients need a novel concept with viral online elements to multiply the impact of each dollar spent.
Proposed initiatives must be in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
Humane Ventures supports innovative startups dedicated to reducing animal suffering through research, public education, and anti-cruelty legislation.
